Hi,

I have a male friend, he is one of my best friends, actually, and we get along really well. I have worked with him for a few months as well, and he invited me to prom. We are both nineteen years old and it is "the graduation prom", so it is quite an important occasion. I suspect that he likes me more than a friend, judging from the hints he keeps dropping, although he has never told me that. Do you think he might want to tell me if he sees me all "dolled up" and pretty during the prom? And not so tomboy-ish as usual? Sometimes, I think he might, but then, you know, I have known him for well over a year now and he told me nothing, so... I don´t know.

Well, I just wanted to know if you heard some stories of people like mine, if they ended up together or not... I know it is such a silly question, but... I am curious if anyone started dating a friend in such circumstances... Thanks.

I took my best friend to senior prom and I was crushing on her very hard. I didn't tell her how I felt by the end of the night, but we had an amazing time anyway. Just enjoy your prom and try not to put too many pressures on yourself or him. You only get one senior prom :)
