So I'm best friends with this guy named Zane. I've known him since the beginning of 6th grade and we are now going into are freshman year. I've liked him a couple of times but it's been like an on and off thing. I'm just scared I'm going to ruin things between me and him so I don't even bother. Me and him are always talking and messing with each other. I've never seen him interact with anyone else like the way he interacts with me. He's super smart too and he helps me out with class work, keeps me on track when I'm not focused, etc. He's like the kind of guy that anyone would want to be around. Lately we've been getting closer he's invited me to his soccer games asked me to hang out with him some what but I know he's a shy person when it comes to a girl he likes. When it comes to relationships he's hard to read. Me and him are ALWAYS together and sometimes people mistake us as a couple. He even blushes when people say we should date... I do too. He's honestly an amazing guy he's funny, sweet (when he wants to be), caring, basically everything you'd want in a guy. Me an him text 24/7 about the randomest things you could imagine and he's talks about girls a lot but he never makes a move on them. It's like he's trying to get me jealous or trying to get me to tell him how I feel. I guess I do like him its just I don't want to ruin anything me and him are inseparable I don't know what I'd do without Zane. :) I'm just really confused right now.

This is exactacly how me and my boyfriend statred going out. We were exactly like you and zane. One day he came up to me and asked me if I liked him. It was only me and him at the time so I told him the truth that yes I like u. He said that he liked me as well so then a miniute after that he asked me out and we have now been going out for 7 months. Try and ask him if he likes you but make sure you guys are by yourselves. I hope this helped

I've had guys like that in my life and sometimes waiting for them to make the move is frustrating on you. You should leave him little hints on how you feel about him but make sure you don't come right out and say it or you'll seem pushy and forward. Most guys don't like that.

We're not always alone though... I mean whenever we come across that subject it's always awkward. I mean he knows I used to like him and he makes fun of me like I'll be like "Dude shut up, no one likes you. Haha" and then he'll be like "You used to, and I'm sure you still do." then it gets all weird and stuff. I feel like he's hinting me but I'm afraid to do something about it.

I'm not sure how I feel about him though. I care for him and I love him a lot. I think I've just pushed those "boyfriend and girlfriend" feelings away because I'm afraid I'll lose that friendship Zane and I have if something goes wrong.

It is so obvious your really into him, just tell him how you feel. Every thing will all work out. Just get him alone, look him in the eyes, and plant a big wet one on him!

Trust me if zane is the guy you say he is then he will understand how you feel about him and nothing bad will happen to your friendship so swallow your pride and tell him how you feel

When he say's"you used to and i'm sure you still do" just say well I'm not going to lie I do like you and sorry if this makes things weird then I'm sorry but I just had to tell you how I felt about u. Then see how things go from there.
