Girlfriend Problems
Hello, I have a small problem with my girlfriend and I could really use some help from you guys. She has had a guy best friend for about 2 years (Hes in my grade too). I'm a freshman in high school and she is in the 8th grade. We started dating in the last month of school (May) and we really liked each other, but we were both in junior high and we could see each other, but she always preferred hanging out with her guy best friend. That didn't bother me at first because I understood she didn't like me as much.
So the school year ended and we hung out a lot over the summer, and she still hung out with him too but no where near as much. Towards the end of the summer she told me she got a small crush on him, but that it wouldn't change us, and I said okay and everything, and then the next day she tells me she's going to see a R movie with him and his brother and her feelings for him were gone, even though we were going to see the same movie a few days earlier in the week, so she went with me and then him to the movies. I didn't know if that's a little wrong at all for your girlfriend to go to the movies with another guy? But anyway school started again and I wasn't allowed to play football because of my parents but her guy friend could, so she told me she was going to wear his football jersey around everywhere, and I couldn't say anything about it, so being a good guy I didn't bring it up anymore. But isn't it wrong for your girlfriend to wear another guys number and go to his games when she's dating me? But anyway I can see her every day in lunch before she leaves, I give her a hug if I can, so I was waiting for her at the door and I saw her walk up to her guy friend and give him two huge hugs so I walked over there, and she gave me a half second hug and then ran away. I feel really crappy about this all the time and because of it I can't eat sometimes or I can't sleep at night. Now she texts completely different and doesn't act like she cares about me at all anymore, and it's killing me inside. Can you guys give me some help? It would be very appreciated.. Thanks |
