I had 281 in my account and check deposit was made into my account on the same day for 2650 I made a withdrawal later that day. No problems. I went in the next day they say I owed a bank and that I would not be available to get any money out. I had the account with my new bank for 9 months why now would another bank say I owes them if I just filed for bankruptcy the past year and the new account I had was the only bank I banked with since my bankruptcy. Will I get my money back and my check deposit of it clears

The only way (almost ) can have money frozen is to have a garnishment (attachment) issued though a court action. So the way you get the garnishment is by having a judgement against you in court. SO?? Of the people who owed you, were everyone included in the bankruptcy, did you get letters from other or new collection agencies about these debts you ignored and did not notify you were in bankruptcy. Were you notified of any court proceeding you did not go to?

You will have to get a copy of the garnishment, go to the court house and look up the records for who got the judgement against you.

Then if this was done wrong, you file a motion with the court to have the judgement overturned, the garnishment over turned ( dismissed) and your money restored.

Many ways for this to happen, you need to go and find out all the info before anyone can really help you
