    Kiln
    OK so I have an electric kiln that is set up to run on 220. It says its 45 amp. I need to get it to run on 110. And use somewhere close to 15 or so amps. Can I just run the heating elements in series and use one (what I think is a) relay? I can send pics if it would help.

    You cannot run a 220 volt unit that draws 45 amps on a 110 volt 15 amp circuit.
