    Briggs and stratton engine can you run it without a counterweight assy.
    I have a 12 horse and the counterweight assy.is broken. Can you run it with out the counterweight.

    No you will wear the top bearing out and the engine will out of balance

    Tremendous vibration will result and you will destroy the engine.
