OK so I've been dating this guy for 6 months now and we recently became a couple. Its been a bit up and down and he was reluctant to let me meet his kids at first but we have got past that issue, my kids adore him and we just spent a lovley weekend together. On Monday we had a nice morning together and I text him when I got home to say I was glad I met him, he then replyed with he's so happy at the morning and he's gald as well. We exchanged a few more text messages through out the day then I text him in the evening but got nothing back. This is normal as he does fall asleep early some nights, however, I text Tuesday a few times and tried to call but nothing, then again today. I hate being ignored and he knows it. So I sent him a bit of a ty message and now wish I hadn't. What else can I do. If he don't want me why can't he just say, its not rocket science. Advise please.

He may feel smothered by the amount of attention you're giving him. Try not to seem needy. After you sent that first text, that should have been enough. If he had fallen asleep, he should have gotten it and replied the next morning. By sending multiple text messages after that, you're making it seem like you have nothing better to do but to be needy and over protective. Next time, Let him text you first. That's really the only way for you to be able to tell if he misses you, or is thinking about you. It also makes you seem like a more Ideal person for him to keep in his life; It says "she cares, but not to the point where her life revolves strictly on my whereabouts". If he doesn't text for awhile, or make any effort to get together, there's your answer.

So next time you're about to pick up the phone and text him, find something to distract yourself. Hangout with some lady friends maybe? Or take your children out.
