I was on a ride Sunday and as I was cruising at about 55-60 MPH, I hear a "clank" sound (almost like to pans hitting together and the bike bogs down for a moment. I got out of the trottle and coasted. I didn't hear anything, so I continued for about another 1/2 mile and heard the sound again. At that point I shut the bike off and pulled it over. Once I got it to the side of the highway, I notice oil under the bike (not leaking necessarliy or gushing or even dripping) but oil is on the bottom of the primary cover and under the bike on a few cables. There was no oil coming out of the bike anywhere and I only have (at the most) 5 drops of oil on my garage floor where she sits all year. It has oil in it... maybe a touch low, but still registering a few inches on the dipstick.

I did notice a plug in my primary cover on the outside that looked like it had maybe been leaking a touch of oil because I could see where there was a small trail, but again, there is next to nothing on the garage floor.

I have no idea, I don't want to run it and thought I'd just reach out to see if anybody might have any ideas.
