    Drug Resistant Yeast Infection
I have had a yeast infection for 2 months. I first tried an otc 3 day cream treatment, which did not work. As soon as I could, I made an appointment with Planned Parenthood who confirmed it was in fact a yeast infection, and prescribed me Diflucan. It didn't work either, so I tried another 1 day otc treatment which also didn't work. Now I've missed a period more than 2 weeks ago, but pregnancy tests are negative, and the yeast infection seems worse. I've also been feeling rather nauseated, and low energy at times, but am aware that those are side effects of my new because pill. I did make another appointment with planned parenthood, but am wondering if its common for yeast infections to be so drug resistant, and if there could be any possible connection between the infection and my lack of period (which, again could simply be a side effect of the because.)
