    Pregnant?
Had sex on the 17th and started my period -heavy flow and very clotted on the 19th. Could I still become pregnant?
    Unprotected.

When you start ovulating yes, that will be 2 weeks from whatever day you started your period.
But if you've already had your period, and haven't had sex since before your period, you should be in the clear.

    Good Day

Thank you kindly, I think I am asking the same question as what milions have posted but until you ask it yourself you still feel you might be different. Lol

I stopped my period today -so it only lasted 2 days -don't know if that's a bad sign of something else, I will keep an eye on it.

    Thank you for your response!

First this person is wrong, ovulation does not always go 2 weeks after you period, women ovualate at all sorts of time schedules, that is why they may have to work hard by taking body temp, or using other tests to find out when they actually ovulate if they are trying to have a child.

A women can get pregnant any day of the month, some days just have a better chance than others.

But yes a short period ( but it is normally light) means you need to wait another month to see if you miss that one or not

Wrong? So tell me, can someone get pregnant while on their period? Since that falls under "any day of the month". It's not hard to track periods/ovulation. I've been doing it for years, even tests to truly understand how it works.

The easy answer: Anything is possible.

The realistic answer: Since you had heavy bleeding two days later, your odds are not high of being pregnant.
Typically, menstraul blood is acidic and can't support the survival of sperm. In addition to that, if it's a true period, you are nowhere near releasing an egg that can be fertilized. Your body would be in the process of shedding edometrial lining, which is what a fertilized egg would need to implant, thus equally pregnancy.

Now, if it was spotting or bleeding non-related to your cycle, that could change things but only time and tests will tell.

----Thank you kindly, that makes sense. And puts my mind at ease a little.
