    Health insurance/ privacy
    Hey I know this may sound dumb but I've never had insurance of my own I'm on my fathers insurance always have been but I wanted to know say I was to go get tested or anything will my father be able to see that I went there some kind of way on his insurance I know probably yes but just asking I'm 20 by the way

    Yes, while they will not tell him about your treatment( doctor) there is normally paperwork when they make payment showing what co pay is due or was due.

    If you don't want dad to know, go but pay cash.

    Our insurance company sends an itemized list of services rendered, and we get monthly updates from the doctor's office of what services were done and amounts still owed that insurance didn't cover, so yes, pay cash.

    The insurance company generally sends an EOB (Explanation of Benefits) statement for each claim filed to the primary insured. The level of detail depends on various factors.
