How to go about reporting an illegal marriage for monetary gain?
I have recently learned that the ex-wife of my husband married an illegal alien in order for him to gain citizenship. In exchange, he has given her a vehicle. I learned of this "arrangement" from her children who know all the gory details and even claim they can provide proof. The children, both under the age of 13, want us to report their mother so that they can come live with us. Their mother made the mistake of telling them all about the arrangement & also telling them if they were to tell anyone, she & her fake hubby would go to prison. The fake "husband" has a separate home with his real girlfriend, and the children have met him & his girlfriend. Our concern is that she is teaching her daughters that this is acceptable behavior as long as you don't get caught. We have additional concerns as well. For instance... She has also practiced bulemia in front of these young, impressionable girls. I have been advised though that bulimia is hard to prove in a custody case. Our motivation for turning her in for the arranged marriage, would be to gain custody of the children. Not sure though, where to begin & who to report to.

If you are determined to cause a problem for the ex-wife you would notify US Immigration - USCIS - Report Immigration Scams

It depends on where you live.

You, of course, would need proof. I can pretty much guarantee that the US Government is not going to put the mother of two children under 13 in jail. The husband, of course, could be deported.

Proof is hard to prove, since couples may own separate homes, they fight, get divorced.
Wife and husbands buy each other things, like cars.

Even this most likely would not effect a custody case anyway, if after 5 to 10 years something could be proved to start with.

Your time and money would be best used trying to gaim custody on normal reasons
