Hello everyone, I was reading some posts in here and I decided to post one myself because I am really confused about my ex and I don't know what to do or how to proceed anymore.

My boyfriend and I have remained friends since we broke up 2 years ago, one year I was away studying in another country and the other one he was trying to get back together with me, or so he said, because he NEVER actually said anything to me, you could tell by the way he acted, but he never really said it.

3 months ago he started dating some other girl and he did not want me to know about it, but I found out. So I told him I knew, and that if he valued me as a friend, he would tell me the truth. So he came over and we had the talk we never really had when I first came back, he told me was an idiot when we were dating, that he did not treat me like he should have done, that he was really sorry, and that he wanted to show me he had changed when I got back but I never gave him a chance. He also tells me, he is moving to another city in two months to do a master.

At that moment I realize that I forgive him for all the things that happened in the past, and that I want him back, so one week later I ask him to spend the last two months he is in town with me instead of her, he says he needs to think about it, that he still has feelings for me, and that is all he ever wanted, but that is really bad timing.

After 3 weeks of me nagging him for a response, he says he will stay with her and that is not far what I ask, but, that he does not want to stop seeing me or talking to me. Keep in mind, at this moment we have kissed twice while he is in a relationship with her.

I decided to continue being his friend, because he was already leaving in like a month, so I wanted to spend as much time with him as I could, and we kissed again a couple of times. So the day of his departure comes, we say goodbye, we cry, we say we will be in contact. He comes back after a week, because there was some problem with his university, and he won't be moving until another 5 months.

So now I don't really know what to do, because it is so hard for me to be his friend while he is with her, and I don't want to be just friends, I don't know if I should continue to be his friend or stop talking to him hoping that he will miss me and come back to me, we are best friends, and in the back of my mind I always thought we would end up together.


Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

You should have cut all contact when you found out about the other girl. Not too late NOW!
