How to remove guests that won't leave
I felt sorry for the homeless couple and told them they could stay for only a few days now it has been over ten days. I told them nicely that they had to go by Monday, three days later, when the girl produced a protection order {temporary}and laughed at me and said now we live here permanent. I flipped and called 911 and the cops said I have to leave my own apt. they do not pay rent they are not on the rental agreement I'm not having any kind of relationship or partnership or anything. How can I remove these squatters before I get myself in trouble by forcefully removing them

For starters how did they get a restraining order against you, on what grounds?

I think there's more to this story than you are revealing and without the rest of the information it's impossible to advise you.

    How "temporary" is the order?

Also where are you or the apartment located.

Do you own the home or are you the leaseholder?

You can't expect us to help without some background here. Ten days should not be enough for guests to establish residency.

Cut off the power, water and all things to the unit, since they are not renters, you are not legally obligated as you would be a renter.

Hire an attorney to fight the order of protection
Have lawyer issue a eviction order for them.

** agree, has to be more to it, for them to have a order or protection.
I also would get a truck and move all of my belongings out till they are gone, or your belongings will be
