Used drain blaster. Great until washer or tub empty. Big bubble up
We've used drain cleaners and have run the hose with a drain blaster. The water from the hose with a drain blaster on drains fine. When we take the blaster out and empty the washer or tub the water blows up like an air bubble in the pipe and then drains quickly.

More details please. What pipe blows up? I don't put any stock in harsh chemicals or "gee whiz" products like the Drain Blaster. A drain Blaster's only good until a vent comes along. Then it becomes just another expensive air pump.
What you have is a partial bloxkage downstream from the tub. (Bath or laundry tub?
The solution would be to snake the drain to clear it. As it stands that's all I can tell you without knowing , for sure, what tub you're referring to. Back to you, Tom

My downstairs bathroom used to also be the laundry room, but I have relocated the laundry room. I am looking at adding either a tub or a shower unit to the bathroom. Can I covert the old washer drain into a tub drain? I am trying to avoid digging up concrete.
