Hello,
I live in Ontario Canada and my husband lives in Springfield, Illinois. We have called it quits.We have been separated for over a year now. My question is how do I file for divorce. It is uncontested, no property, no assets and a child that he wants to sign the rights over to me for. She is not biologically his due to the fact he could not have children. Now he wants nothing to do with her. I am a Canadian Citizen by birth and he is American.
Just wondering what I have to do here and how much it may cost. Thank you.
