    Yes, any woman who has sex or allows a penis to enter her vagina even for a moment can get pregnant.
    You need to wait 5 weeks after your last period started to start using pregnancy tests. Take a new one every few days.
    Being late or even skipping a period doesn't mean 100% that you are pregnant.
    A negative test result doesn't mean you are NOT pregnant.
    So yes, women do have to wonder, wait, and keep testing.
