    JOHN DEERE L 120 drive belt
    If slipping do you need to replace or can you tighten the belt

    Usually once its slipping it becomes glazed... one its glazed small cracks form and its life is significantly reduced.

    I would replace the belt and properly adjust it. If it breaks its going to be at the worst time.
