My husband left myself and two children four months ago after our marriage being rocky for over a year. He said the day he left his love died for me & that he's never coming back & ever since has acted cold towards me as if he has totally shut down his feelings... As time has gone by, he's gone from angry to being quite civil towards me,and he has recently startred to visit our children daily at our home, stays for an hour & then goes home to his flat... He is not the same man I married, he seems down, withdrawn, doesn't have a lot to say for himself to the kids or me & seems to have lost his spirit & the other day he actually admitted he was happier living at home. He does nothing else apart from work & then secluding himself in his flat, he never goes out or stays in touch with friends & I know there is no one else.
I've tried to talk to him to find out how he feels but he shuts me out & then afterwards acts cold, I can't do no more than I have done to try & get my family back together. I feel like I can't try no more & recently my barriers are going further up & I think he feels this from me.. I am also trying as best I can to carry on as normal for the kids sake as we always did have a great social life with friends & family, I've kept with it & he excludes himself from that too which I think hurts him as he also admitted he misses his old life... I have told him I want him to come home he knows he can, but I think it's a lot to do with pride getting in his way... please tell me what you think
