Hello, I am a child, and I have been taught by my mum how to pray basic namaz (fajr, Zohar and maghrib). But there are so many namaz's like asr, dhur and I have no clue what they mean and how many rakats there are in a namaz. Basically I don't know anything and I didn't go madrasah because I lived to far away. I'm a Shia Muslim, could someone explain every single namaz there is in detail but not to complicated, easy enough for a child to understand? My mum tried her best teaching me, but she didn't know everything herself. And what is the namaz between maghrib and Isha? I'm so confused :(

I am sorry you feel so confused. Have you told your mother that you are confused? Have you spoken to your father about this? Maybe your mother does not have very good teaching skills, and your father could hire another woman to help teach you?
