    All you have to do is set the water level a little lower to the level you want. You cannot adjust the speed of the pump and newer machines pump faster. You will need to clean out your drain pipe with an augur to get the built up lint deposits out of it. It gradually closes up. There are kits to seal the drain hose to the drain pipe.
