How do I "Sweep Her Off Her Feet". Again?
Okay, so this girl and I were on a break, but are broken up now... I saw it coming, but man is it a relief to be sure of one or the other. Anyway, we talked today after class, and I swore to her I've been acting different only because of issues at home (which was a total lie, she broke my heart to itsy bitsy pieces). So anyway, we both have the same night class, and we talked today about if it's a break, or what. She said "Well, it was until I've been thinking lately, your so controlling sometimes, my dad [parents divorced] was the same way, and it was UGHHHH!" She was disgusted by it I guess. I guess I was a little controlling and jealous and at times I would ask her if everything is alright, and that would bug her. My family is where I get this from, were all very very clingy! I said to her how I didn't appreciate her not just telling me that she wanted to break up. Then I said, "Bet your moms happy" (Her mom hates me)... To which she said, "No, actually, she said don't worry, because things will happen in the end if they're meant to. And I'm not just saying this to be nice but, it might work later on, who knows? " This made me really happy on the inside, of course I didn't show it though. I apologized about everything and said I needed to change. So yeah I gave her a hug and left to my car. But now my question is as follows:

    1. How do I show her that I've changed?
    2. How do you swoop a girl off her feet, when she's already seen your ugly side?

    Thanks for your help everyone!

Take things slow - Don't rush, it will only make things worse.

    Have you changed thou?
Have you re-gained your trust and worked on your jealousy issues?

    Everything takes time.

Slow and steady wins the race. You can't necessarily win anything back though.

Time will tell if you are sincere in you commitment to change old habits and act differently. She will see this for herself. Its up to you to do the work part and change. As far as sweeping someone off there feet, there is no formula for that as far as I know, except to impress her with who you are as a person and having the things she looks for in a man and mate. See how she reacts to the changing part first and it had better be real, as females can tell if your BS'ing or not.

Our gas heater is 7 years old, and has worked fine in the two years we've rented here. This winter though, we can't get it to work consistently. When on "Auto", it doesn't turn on at all, no matter what temperature we select, and when we turn the fan to "On", it simply blows cold air. It...
