I was smoking k2 for a while then stopped smoking it a month ago and also stopped smoking weed a month or more ago will this cause me to fail a hair screening test?

K2 has a very different chemical structure and elimination rate and incorporation rate into hair. K2 (metabolites) can be detected if tested for but that is not common practice in hair testing. Why are you being tested? That might save some time...

THC/COOH is frequency dependent. How much were you smoking at the time you quit?

OK... that did save some time.

    1) Infrequent marijuana use will not show up in a hair test even though it is tested for, and
    2) K2 will not be tested for in an employment screen hair test. I'm not sure if the technology is there for hair screen for any of the synthetic THC products. Have never seen one and it requires a different test than urine for instance. At any rate will not be tested for.

So I should pass the test then?

You certainly should. Hair testing is only effective at THC detection in those that use around 2-3 times a week and up. Even with heavy chronic users only detects about 60%.
