    Breaker problem
    With my breaker on, I have power to my light switch when it is off. When the switch is on no power to switch. New light bulb does not work in either position.

    ^^^this makes sense and is normal, but how do you know this?

    When the switch is on no power to switch.

    ^^^ does this mean power goes off when you turn the switch on (not likely) or did you mean "when the switch is on no power to the light" ?

    New light bulb does not work in either position.

    ^^^does this mean "new bulb does not work with switch on or off" ?

    I can think of several causes already but it really depends on what you meant
