    Child support from NC parent that's been fired.
    NC father has gotten fired for not coming into work on time. Lawyer is working on child support paperwork, but has not yet filed them. Will father still be responsible for the support ordered while he's not working ?

    Generally a minimum amount is awarded. When he gets another job the custodial parent can go back for a modification.
