    Contract for deed payoff
I'm in Texas, and have been paying on a house under a Contract for Deed since 2006. I have offered the seller a payoff price which is different than what the payoff would be on the original contract. They have accepted the offer. Is there a form for that or do I amend the old contract or draw up a new Contract for Deed?

You write up a offer to pay off or basically an amendment to the contract, both sign it,

Since it involves a large purchase I would hire my own lawyer to over see and do the paper work
