    Toilet will not flush
    I have running water in my house but the connection to the water meter is not connected until the landlord finds a new plumber why am I not able to flush and is it because the main valve is off? And will it flush if I turn it on?

    If the meter is not connected you will not have water. If you turn it on it will not bring water to the house. How long without water? Tell the LL you are going to move to a motel and charge him if you don't get water in 24 hrs. If you have a nice neighbor, you can connect to their outside faucet , turn off the main valve in the house, open their faucet connection and yours and you will have water-you will need a double female connector or a washer hose to connect, If you have a faucet backwash connector, it will have to be removed.
