I have a 10 month old that I am still breastfeeding. Yesterday my left breast felt sore, tender and engorged, and stayed feeling engorged after nursing my daughter. My nipple is extremely sore. Last night I woke with a horrible sharp, crampy pain in my lower left abdomen, with chills and nausea. I only threw up once. It kept me awake for over 2 hours then I took some advil and the pain lessened. The next day the pain continued now it has moved to the middle of my abdomen. I was wondering if I could be pregnant and could it be a ectopic pregnancy?

You have a breast infection. Having the baby nurse as much as possible will help. You should contact your doctor for an antibiotic also. Just realize when you take the antibiotic that it will pass through to the baby and make sure you give him/her something to protect their digestive system from strong antibiotic, perhaps a good yogurt.
Also, you can get VERY sick with a breast infection. The baby nursing, or pumping as much as possible will give you some relief. You get the infection when you are very busy and/or the baby doesn't nurse you completely dry, or when the baby is beginning to eat more solids and cutting back on their milk intake.
Take care of yourself mom and do not neglect *you.*
I can still remember a breast infection that gave me 105 fever and I was the sickest I have ever been in my life. Get an antibiotic from your doctor immediately.

Excellent advice! I remember how awful it was. Keep nursing, but make sure you place a warm washcloth on your breast a few times a day to help with the pain. Also, nurse the baby on the painful breast first to make sure it empties. With the antibiotics, you will feel better soon.
