    I'm a son to be dad trying to gain custody of my unborn son
    Well I'm trying to get custody of my unborn son , me and his mother ended our relationship some time ago she makes min. Wages she just started working and soon will quit due to the pregnancy I am paying for doctors and all bills she moved back in with her parents she want to take all rights even my last name from my son what can I do if I can do anything what process do I need to take? And this will be my 1st child.

    First off, she has 100% naming rights--what you want isn't even factored in.

    Second, you only have rights if you go to court to get them.

    Get on your state's putative father registry, and be ready to go to court to set up visitation, custody, and child support once the child is born.
