My dog is a 2 year old bull mastiff and he has a thing for women and humping them he don't do it to me as I've stopped this behaviour however when female guests come round he pounces on them and as he's such a huge 10st dog it's a massive problem. I will not get him castrated yet because he's a kc reg dog and I want to stud him out. Is there any way of controlling his urges and do you think the first time he mates with another dog he might lose interest in female humans?

This very well could always be a problem - there's an easy solution. If you can't control him keep him away from females.

I can control him but the females that come into my house will not be dominant around him thus why he continues this behaviour.

No, you can't control him if he's humping women.

It may or may not be a dominance issue.

What does the trainer say?

If you are set not to neuter him, then you will have to keep away from the women who visit your home.
If you can't tell him No and make him stop then , no, you are not in control.
What happens when he knocks one of your guest off her feet and causes injury or worse, possibly begins to become aggressive.
This is a large dog, best not to take chances.

And if you can't control your large dog you really should consider a smaller dog or no dog at all.

You intend to stud him - does he have an outstanding pedigree, show qualities, a show history, something that will keep his puppies from being chained in backyards, abandoned, lost, euthanized?

I have all the papers!! And I've had large breed dogs all my life and never had a problem! The thing with this dog is I only got him a week ago. Hes attending dog training school on Saturday to try and curb this behaviour if that fail then I will have no option then to neuter him.I don't find any of your answers helpful what so ever and just find you a bored critical who have to stick there nose it to other people problems I came on here for advice not to be critisised by you!!
