Can I apply for food stamps for just one child in the household in Florida?
My son is registered with an Indian reservation in Michigan and his father lost his rights to him back when he was very little and as far as I know he has never even seen a picture of him. Can I apply for food stamps for just him in my household? I was told my a DCF worker that I could but I just wanted to be sure. I have tried to get a hold of her but she will not return my calls. Can anyone help me?

You don't need any children to apply for food stamps, which is income related only.
You can ask about WIC and Husky and anything else available from the place where you apply for food stamps.
