    Small insects that jump and bite
    Well just recently I have small bugs that jump and are black, they pinch the skin when they are about to bite and yet they are so small that they are barely visible and they have two long hind legs and they only die in water, so what are they?

    The small insects might be mites.

    Fleas jump, could they be fleas?

    I'm sure they are fleas, which show those hind legs when you drown them. (They are very difficult to drown actually.)
