The following is happening intermittantly ; when I try to start the car and see the green key light (immobilizer) it will start but sometimes the key light doesn't appear and car won't start . Also will stop dead while I'm driving in traffic . If something is deffective why would this only happen intermittantly ? Thanks

Many electrical issues are intermittent on cars and it drives people crazy. Try cleaning the main ECM ground, which may be located on the thermostat housing. Also, remove and clean the Back-up Fuse, located in the under hood fuse box. It's always good to test all under hood and under dash fuses with a test light or multimeter, when you are experiencing electrical problems. It may give you a tip of where the problem is coming from. Finally, I would check the ignition switch for wear, pitting, or melting.
