    Portuguese passport procedure for a separated spouse
    I would be grateful if you could let me know the procedure for obtaining portuguese passport for my mother who is a separated spouse .

    Does she already have a passport under her married name ? She can continue to use her married name, so her present passport would be acceptable. Otherwise just go through the usual procedure of applying for a passport with pertinent documents to the Portuguese Embassy. Is she this nationality with a parent born there ?
