    Kenmore elite duel range oven will not work
    The temperature is set and clicks but will not heat up. Is there something I can check?

    Have you checked the cal rod heating units?

    You will need to use a meter to find out what the problem is. Check breaker to ovens and if not tripped turn off. Then pull element out enough so you can check it with a meter. Make sure to remove one wire and with meter set to "ohms" check the continuity of that element. You should get a low number like 20-40 Ω . If the element check out then reattach wire and rest the ends of the element on glass saucers so they will not short out on oven floor. Then turn on breaker and set the oven control to come on. With meter on "volts" check for voltage at the ends of the element. After checking turn off breaker. By now you should know what the problem is.
