    Oh, come on, don't we need more information then you are offering. If you want an answer you have to tell us more about this trial, whatever it is, solder.

    No, most will not start until you can get the entire retainer.

    You should understand, Soldier, that in most places once an attorney files a notice of appearance, he or she is to some extent locked into the case. One has to do certain things to withdraw. That's one reason a retainer is required.
