Reasons for power not getting to fuel pump
I have a 93 Lincoln Towncar Executive Edition. It would not start after I made a stop to get fuses after dashboard lights went out. We changed the fuel filter, nothing. The car was checked and I was told that the fuel pump was not working. I had it checked again and was told that no power was getting to the fuel pump. What could the problem be? And where is the wire harness connected from the fuel pump to the motor running exactly?

Replace the ignition switch/harness and the problem should be solved. The bad ignition switch is likely denying power to a host of under dash fuses.
