    Can that individual in Texas be charged with attempting to possess controlled substances therefore endangering his parole?

    If you wanted to read about search and seizure laws, you could read 1,000's of books about it and STILL not know the answer to your question...

    The answer IS, IF a cop searched you WITHOUT a warrant, or WITHOUT probable cause, you cannot be charged. IF your parole officer searched you, you're toast.
