Pea sized lump behind my ear
Hi! I just found a pea sized lump behind my ear, about where the skull meets the ear. My allergies have been acting up and I hope IRS just a swollen lymph node. Can anyone help me? I have ulcerative colitis and my mom freaks when something is wrong with me so I don't want to worry her... Help!

Yes it is a swollen lymph node which is the body's frontline warning system for any kind of infection going on in your body. Which in your case is your allergies, a very low grade infection that would not necessarily need antibiotics to cure.

Pea-sized lump [ 1 Answers ]

My son, 7 months old, has a smal pea-sized lump on the back left side of his head. It is not fixed in place, I can move it around with my finger. I do think it's attached to the underside of the skin. What is it? Should I be worried?
