    Retreavcan I clam my father money left in the bank
    My father died am his only child how do I get the money if my name was not on the account.

    Power of attorney would not matter anyway, it would end at his death, you can not have POA of a dead person.

    You file in probate court to have the estate settled. Depending on where this is, how you file may depend on all of the property in the estate
