    2005 ford diesel fuel issues
I changed fuel filters yesterday (NAPA Gold), and the truck doesn't seem to be getting fuel today. Won't run! I was told that NAPA Gold was good as if not better than Ford filters. Have I been misinformed?

One time when I changed the fuel filter on my 73 BMW, I installed it backwards. (oops!) Could that possibly be the problem?

No. The filters have a positive locking system, so when you push them into the caps, they lock into place. I am being told that Ford 6.0's only like Ford filters. I may have to purchase a set today and install to see if this fixes the problem. Tks.
