Separation
I have been with my husband - living together for 1 year and married for 9 years, so living together for 10years. I recently found out he is having an affair, with a prostitute he met while in Thailand. He is constantly in contact with her via skype I phone and email. I have asked him 5 times if he is having an affair and he denies it, even though I said is there anything I need to be aware of for my safety (we are continuing being intimate). He is threatening to leave me, as he plans to have a future with her and marry her.. I have seen the text messages they exchange (they are on his I phone). I am frightened to be on my own. I do not have any personal money, he is very business wise and has a lot of wealth, there is a lot of money in my name which he has tried to have me sign away by giving our financial adviser power to move money around.. but I wisened up at the last minut and have been evasive to do anything. There is so much deception going on around me.. he is also having my emails go to his I phone (without my consent) as he is quite paranoid I find out about his affair. Does he have to keep me as he is doing while we are together when he moves out.. what leg do I stand on for having enough money for me, my daughter (whom he has known since she was 10 months-she is nearly 12 and our 2 dogs.. not forgetting about the family home etc. He has also had my emails directed to his mobile which I did not approve of so he can check on me. Thanks Louise

So, you go see an attorney right away. And you change the password on your e-mail account or get a free account (gmail, hotmail, Yahoo, etc.) and use that.
If there is money in your name, then move it someplace safe before he loots your accounts.

Yes, see an attorney, make sure he has no access to your money, change any passwords and follow your attorneys instruction.

Thank you for your advice I feel a bit lost at sea dealing with the shock of what used to be a safe and happy marriage. I saw my lawyer today and this was very helpful. Also will try to change password on my email, however it is in his name so will use a gmail more now. He has also been tracking me with my mobile phone so I have bought a new cheap one and will set it up.. I found that one out today. How far can these men go?

Thanks for your help, I have followed your advice and seen a lawyer who has given me instructions and advice, I am also using gmail. It is hard to move the money but my lawyer has advised I find out as much as I can, he is aware of the things my husband has been doing and will take steps to secure things.. fingers crossed.
