    I'm battling bad breath: help!
Um, okay. I'm a good kid, brush my teeth everyday, don't eat junk (... out of choice).
On several occasions, though, someone or the other has pointed out that my breath isn't too 'pleasant/normal'. Help :(

You may have decay (cavities) or gum disease (gingivitis) that doesn't hurt and you can't taste or smell yourself. Can you and have you seen a dentist?

How often do you get teeth cleaning? It should be every 6 months. Bad breath is a result of bacteria on the mouth. Tarter/plaque build up will give bad breath (teeth cleaning is necessary), gingivitis (good oral hygiene including - and particularly - flossing will help, salt water rinses - several minutes each time), cavities and a dry mouth can.

Solutions: brush 2-3 times a day, floss 2-3 times a day, brush your tongue, use a salt-water rinse regularly, keep hydrated, reduce sugar intake (and be sure to floss well after sugar consumption) get regular tooth cleanings (this is a huge one and should remedy a lot) and get a check up to make sure you don't have dental decay (cavities)
