I am on parole in pa and got a dui
I am on parole for a felony drug charge in 2009, I have been out for over15 months with no problems or dirty urines. I was arrested for suspicion of DUI. What are the chances my parole agent will violate me? I did call him first thing in the morning after it happened but got voicemail, so I left him a message telling him what happened but haven't heard anything from him yet.

    Hello b:

A dui is hard to ignore. It's not like a missed appointment. I think he'll violate you.

So you have the answer to your question... why did you ask it if you know everything already?

I just found out a little bit ago. They are not aloud to send non violent offenders back to state prison or revoke parole unless it is after there 3rd violation. Kind of good to hear because I would have never beeb sent up for my original offense when it happened! Its supposed to save PA over 253 million over the next 5 years. And I don't claim to know everything. And just think its funny my old PO just got fired for getting a DUI, there all a bunch of hypocrites!

Just to give an update, I went an seen my parole officer today and explained to him what happened, and he laughed at me and told me not to worry about it because I have never given him any problems. He said we will wait and see if I get charged for the dui and if I do the most I will get is a slap on the rist for the alcoho. Not all parole officers are s, so don't ever lie to them , be completely honest and up front and let them know what happened before they have to find out about it by the court system , then they will think you were trying to hide it from them!
