I'm 17, and I like this girl who is also 17, so I known this girl for about 6 months, and like, I guess we're friends now, and I tell her everything, and she knows I like her and such, I got rid of that when I 1st talked to her on msn, and we talk about stuff, not really anything special, but she IM's me, and I IM her, and we see each other every Sunday (church is how I met her) and you, she lives out of town, I live in town, ive' asked her to do something, like when we're both bored, but she says no, or says I have hm or sometyhing, and I know its like, well obvioulsy she doesn' like you, but I believe she mite, but I'm not sure, I'm just too scared to ask her, and she has a sister, but I don't want to ask her sister, I want to find out for myself, but I dn't want to like "sacrifice" what we have, even if we're just friends, I just want to know if this could go anywhere, you know, it's just one of those things, but we're friends, so I'm glad for that, but I'm not sure if she's going out with anyone, I'd ask her, but I don't want her to like, come straight out and tell me how she feels about me, I don't want to know if it's a negative or positive thing, but you, that's my problem

Oh! A classic! I love these! Hehe. Well here goes:
There are many ways to tell if a girl likes you:
1. As you pass by you, she may try and touch you... just briefly even, such as an arm brush or such. Don't ask me why, its just something us girls do.
2. when she is talking to you, she'll look into your eyes. When I say "into", I really mean "into". I quote that guys have said that it felt like the girl was "looking into their soul".
3. she'll smile at you for no reason whatsoever. Just for the sake of smiling. Because she is happy to see you.
As well as several other points, the only sure way to know if she's into you, is to ask her. Most people are afraid to do this, but its true. And yes, despite what people may have said, it is risking what you already have with her. But it must be a risk you are willing to take. If you don't, then you and her can just carry on and being people that you happen to say hello to at church every once and a while. And if you do decide to tell her, don't make it sound creepy. Tell her that you like something about her, compliment her, and make it sincere, and not over-the-top.
NOTE: if you ever tell her that you like her, tell it face to face. This is the best way. It may sound like the worst way imaginable, but it takes guts; and it really shows that girl how much you've risked telling her this and how much courage it took for you to do it.
And you never know, she may feel the same way about you too!
... and just so you know, I'm a teenage girl. I'm sort of qualified on this. Hope this helped you in some way.
