    Outdoor receptacle not working
Our outdoor receptacle was working fine last week. We had our pool pump plugged in there until then and we unplugged it to mow the yard. I went to plug it back in today and the outlet doesn't work. Our house is set up with the reset buttons on a lot of our inside outlets, but there isn't one outside by that outlet. Should we get an electrician or is there something that we can do on on own.

Before calling an electrician, check the reset buttons of all other GFI outlets. A GFI outlet can be wired to not only protect itself but other outlets down stream. Odds are that this outlet is protected by another GFI.
