The age of consent in Oregon is 18, there is a 3 year close age exemption, but this is over that. Yes she can get into trouble, even if she does not list boy, if girls parents or a friend of the girl, or someone who does not like them reports it, she can be changed

What about her mom? What makes you think her dad lost his rights?

Legally she is guilty of rape. She is going to have to identify the father at some point.

And it does not matter that father has no rights ( but I bet he does have rights, and you are not aware of it, having rights and using them or having court order for it are different.

But the father can report it, a next door neighbor can report it, his having rights has nothing to do about it

He doesn't have rights because at 16 he lost all rights to her. He signed his rights away and it was up to her and him alone of they wanted contact. Her mom is happy for her because she is happy. Plus she doesn't live with her mom she lives with friends. And how is it rape if he and she both agreeed it was ready for them in their relationship to have sex?

It is rape because that is the law, it goes to protect the child. A person over 18 who has sex with a minor who is more than 3 years age difference is rape, that is the law, every adult should know it, ( statutory rape ) Google it under age of consent for your state.

Next why the hang up on dad's rights, a person with no rights can report this to the police. If I knew who you were, I could call the police, does not matter who calls them. If they investigate.

A chld can not agree, even if his parents agreed, it is rape, sorry. But that is the law. Before a adult has sex with a child they should know this.

What is the Oregon Legal Age of Consent for 2012?

A person cannot just sign away their rights. Only a court can terminate parental rights. And, unless the mother remarried and her new husband was adopting her, it is unlikely a court issued a termination. He may have agreed to relinquish custody of her, put that's not the same as having no rights. If a mother went so far as to get the father's rights terminated, it is unlikely she would allow contact under any conditions. Which reinforces that his rights were not terminated.

But whether his rights were terminated or not is immaterial. It does not preclude the father from reporting this to the police. Of course I don't know why he would since it could mean jail for the daughter.

The ones she has to worry about are the boy's family. Yes this was rape, because a 15 yr old is under the age of consent. This means whether he willingly engaged in sex or not, legally its rape because he can't legally consent. And it would be a rare 15 yr old boy who would refuse a girl offering her body to him. So his consent is meaningless.

I'm curious how these two were involved? How did they meet? Were his parents aware they were involved?

But the bottom line is she should be scared. If anyone decides to report this to the police, she could find herself in jail, with a sex offender tag. And she could have the child taken away from her. And deservedly so. She had no business seducing a 15 yr old boy.
