Unfortunately, when we use strippers to remove the dye color, most of us get a dull not true to the original, color.

Shaving your head is a bit drastic to get the natural color back. Start going to a hair salon on a regular basis. They can help you make your hair look as best as it can. You have a couple of options besides shaving it off. They can try to match your natural hair color as best as they can, a good salon should do a pretty good match with the color. Then as your hair grows out, they will keep dying and cutting the ends. That is the best solution in my opinion until your hair natural color grows out fully. If you are not happy with the results, you could have them put in hair extensions until your natural hair color comes in fully enough to cut out all the old "mistake" color. But, again, finding a perfect match with extensions to your old color is as tricky as dying. Or you can just grow out your hair. Go to the salon every 5-6 weeks. They can condition and cut and give you a workable hairstyle until all your hair grows in and the dye color is completely cut out.

    Good Luck!

P.S. Someone else may stop by with another suggestion, so please check for updates.

Some people dye their hair every 4 to 6 weeks. It depends on the condition of your hair. If your is dry or damaged, I recommend doing a deep conditioning treatment at least twice a week until your hair is healthy again. Once your hair is in good condition, go to the salon and have them do a corrective color.
