    I am a usa citizen receiving social security disability and local govt disablity early retirment pension are taxable in india . If I live in india around 180 days or over 180 days . Please answer.thanks

    This is a question about the INDIAN tax system, whereas this forum deals exclusively with the U.S. tax system.

    That said, if you review answers from MukatA, he will eventually cite the link that deals with the Indian tax system, and you can post your question there.

    Based on my LIMITED experience with Indian taxes, if you spend NO MORE than 180 days in India, your pension and Social Security will remain UNTAXED by India.
