Short of breath and chest pains
Last evening after eating a tomato salsa, I developed severe chest pain. severe shortness of breath, no rash. Every breath caused severe pain in chest. Could not sleep on left side, barely on the right side. I'm 71 and the last three days have had edema in lower right leg and ankle and a dry cough.
. I am not overweight, cholesterol and triglycerides are perfect, as is rest of blood test. Today still having chest pain but it is abating; however when I take a deep breath still have pain in chest. And when I bend over, the chest hurts. I thought at first it was an allergic reaction to the tomato salsa, now not so sure. My EKG two months ago was normal; ECHO normal. Do have hypertension.
